Jen & Dan’s Lush Hawaiian Wedding

You know, we don’t get nearly enough Hawaiian weddings here at DIY Bride but whenever we do, they’re always amazing. Just like this one from Dan and Jen.

In Hawaii family (ohana) comes together whenever there’s a need and Jen and Dan had an abundance of helpers to create this lush and beautiful day. Handmade details like the large Japanese crane display and the flower arrangements were from were the result of the generosity of talented friend and family.

Get Inspired With This Glam Styled Shoot

Our editorial team loves styled shoots  (“staged” weddings for those of you new to the weddingsphere) because we get to see a wide range of fantasy wedding styles from talented vendors around the globe. This one, submitted by Faith Cherisse Photography, is a study in opposites and it works well. The abundance of gilded details set in a very rustic and almost austere location is so modern and on-trend. It also goes to show that any location can be transformed with beautiful details and putting the focus on key elements like a great cake table or lush floral arrangements.

I had the pleasure of organizing my 1st Stylized Wedding Shoot. I had so much fun planning this shoot, working with vendors that so graciously gave their time and added their artistic touch to make this shoot even more beautiful than I envisioned. I love it when my vision is brought to life, thanks to all the talented people involved.
