Happy Friday, my crafty lovelies! It is nice and sunny here in Portland today, so I am in a rather snazzy mood. Hopefully you all have a change to get out and enjoy your weekend to the fullest.
One of the things I love most about putting together the Real Weddings section of DIY Bride is the wide range of submissions we receive. It really goes to show that no matter if you get married in your backyard, a barn, a church, or on a pier, you can DIY the details to fit your personal aesthetic. Anna and Kristian are the couple that married on a pier in New York, and the result is a modern and fresh ceremony with a reception at the home of a local light installation artist. The bride’s dress was vintage, she made her own veil, and all the florals and arrangements were created by the mother of the bride and maid of honor.
