Carolyn + Caleb’s Pretty Blue Backyard Wedding

This New York Fall wedding is not short on details and prettiness. In fact, Carolyn + Caleb’s DIY wedding featured many personal touches, including a sweet duet by the bride and groom themselves and jet-setting off to their “happily ever after” in one cool ride . With lots of gorgeous photos from Shaw Photography Co., this wedding is not to be missed!

Carolyn + Caleb’s DIY wedding was a combined effort of the couple and love ones. Their sweet neighbors provided the pig roast feast. Caleb’s talented sister made the pretty wedding cake and cupcakes spread, while his sister-in-law made all of the groomsmen’s ties. The wooden arch they said their “I do’s” under was built by Caleb himself, and Carolyn spray-painted all the mini animals to gold to use as decoration for the tables. The couple sings together, and as mid-dinner entertainment, they sang a song for all the guests to thank them for coming. A burned DVD of their singing was their Thank You gift/favor.

Carolyn + Caleb show everyone that just because you throw a backyard wedding doesn’t mean you can’t make it look magazine swoon-worthy. The personal touches, the singing, and all the efforts put in by their friends and family are what makes their wedding oh-so-special. And who says you can’t walk down the aisle barefooted and looked incredible doing it?

Congratulations Carolyn + Caleb and much thanks to Christina & Brian of Shaw Photography Co. for submitting this DIY wedding to us!
