Happy Valentine’s Day! While I’m only marginally excited by the rampant red and pink that explodes on February 14th, I do get all giddy about an extra-special day to celebrate love. Whether it be between spouses, couples, siblings, or friends – it’s always a good day to tell someone you love them!
Today we have the wedding of Clare and John who had do-it-yourself details coming out of their ears for their vintage Alice in Wonderland nuptials. The bride and her mother each made their own dresses, the mens’ ascots, and all the decor. For the reception everything adhered to a tea party theme, and the bride could be see dancing barefoot with her groom on the venue’s bridge for their first dance.

We are so honored to be featured on diybride.com! I love this site, I got a lot of inspiration from it during my planning! Happy Valentine’s Day!
What a wonderful series of photos. We especially love the shot of Clare & John under the sheer white veil, and the sheer draping effect on the walkway leading to the “altar”. What a simple, beautiful touch. The best thing about DIY is that it is a personal expression of the couple’s creativity and emotion. Bravo!
