Danielle + Zach’s Colorful Woodland Wedding

You have to love a bride who isn’t afraid to get dirty and craft away until glue dots and loose threads become a part of her manicure. And when one of those brides happens to be a photographer, you are bound to get a whirlwind of whimsy, colorful, and creative ideas to fill an inspiration board (or four.) You’re pretty sure that the wedding photos are going to be on point too. Thanks to Sarah Joelle Photography, Danielle and Zach’s crafty & colorful wedding in the Colorado mountains, makes today’s wedding totally pin-perfect.

Even though it would probably be easier to explain what Danielle didn’t make, it wouldn’t be nearly as much fun. Every paper and fabric flower in the centerpieces and bouquets was handcrafted by the bride. From floor to ceiling Danielle had one hand stringing lights and lanterns, to placing chalkboard signs. She even handmade the yellow tablecloths with the burlap runners. Normally, I’d start to get jealous that one person can be so skilled, if I wasn’t so enamored by the burlap and button napkin rings and the homemade jam favors. (And yes, she even made the printable labels.) Oh! And don’t forget all of the buntings and mason jars, the groom’s bout, the thrift shop vintage scores, and, yeah, well you get the idea. Danielle is true DIY bride! WooHoo!!

Danielle and Zach are not only crafty but pretty cool too. After a truly personalized day like this for their closest friends and fam they take off for a yearlong honeymoon adventure! We have to thank Sarah Joelle Photography for capturing and sharing this special day with us. Congratulations Danielle + Zach.
