DIY: Confetti

We created two simple versions of DIY confetti. No need to go out a purchase confetti pieces when you can make it yourself so easily.

Supplies

  • Tissue Paper
  • Scissors
  • Hole Punch
  • Metallic Wrapping Paper

Time

  • 5 Minutes

Difficulty

  • No need to make your cuts perfect, but just a warning it can get tedious!

Fold your tissue paper multiple times until it is about 8-10 layers thick.

Make small cuts to create a fringe pattern into the tissue paper.

Now cut the opposite direction cutting across the fringe you just made.

And just like that you have confetti!

We also used a heart shaped hole punch to make this heaping pile of confetti.
