This summer Midwest wedding has the sweetest little details, you can’t help but smile when you’re browsing through the gallery! It’s vintage and rustic and modern all rolled together – and it totally works. I love their underlying bird theme – from the logo on the napkins to the bird nest ring “pillow” to the bird cage card holder, which was found at an antique shop and spray painted yellow to match the wedding’s color palette.
Anna is a graphic designer, so naturally she designed all of their stationery and signage. The couple also made centerpieces out of cut recycled wine bottles and napkin rings out of wired tree bark and sola flowers (made from tapioca wood).
This event was a family affair, with the bride’s dad building the arbor for the ceremony as well as the bag toss game, and several relatives pitched in to make the heart mint favors.
After the ceremony, a freak storm moved through which made for some dramatic pictures.
And you can’t have a vintage wedding without a vintage get-away car, complete with DIY fabric sign made by the bride.
Congrats Anna and Jon!

Love the barn wedding idea. Totally rustic chic. The cake topper is adorable!
I love this wedding. Everything about it is so pretty. I especially love how the yellow bouquets add a pop of color against the grey dresses.
