RECIPE: S’more Pops

I love S’mores in any form or fashion. Read below to see how we turned a normally messy snack into a bitesized treat.

Supplies

  • Marshmallows
  • Chocolate Chips
  • Graham Crackers
  • Parchment Paper
  • Skewers
  • Zip Seal Bag

Time

  • 30 minutes (not including setting time)

Difficulty

  • This was an easy and delicious make ahead treat for any party or family snack.

You will want to start by melting your chocolate. I used a mini crockpot to do this, but you can use a double boiler, or microwave to melt your chocolate chips. While your chocolate is melting place your marshmallows onto the end of the skewers. I had originally tried lollypop sticks, but they were difficult to puncture the marshmallows and many ended up falling off before the dipping process.

Be sure that you are continuing to stir your chocolate as it is melting. Next you will want to crush up your graham crackers. Place the crackers in a zip top back and smash away. You can use a roller if you would like, but my hands worked just fine.

Once the chocolate is melted dip half of the marshmallow in then immediately dip into the graham cracker crumbs. Then place on parchment paper to harden.

I did not place the pops in the refrigerator to set. Instead I just left them out on the counter. In about an hour and a half were hardened and ready to eat.
