It finally feels like fall where I’m at here in Southern California, and the perfect antidote to this cold weather is a pretty summer wedding!
From the photographer, Laura Barns Photo: This wedding left my heart feeling so full… So many great people came together and put a lot of work into making this wedding day perfect. The wedding took place at Kourtney’s home church, Roopville Road Baptist Church in Georgia, where her father is the Pastor. I loved all of the DIY details to this wedding (all signs, hangers, flowers, stationery) … such a great use of colors and materials. And I really loved their balloon release for the grand exit!
The non-first look is a really cute idea!
This is one of the best ring shots I’ve seen. I adore the interlocking fingers.
Glittery TOMS, I hereby dub thee my favorite wedding shoes of all time.
The couple made garland out of of various photos of themselves. So simple and so sweet!
Okay – I can’t be the only Disney fan around here … who else thinks of the movie Up when they see this balloon release?!?
Congrats on your fairy tale day, Kourtney and Kirk! And thanks to Laura Barns Photo for submitting this beautiful wedding!

Thank you for submitting it, Laura!
I was there! It truly was one of the most adorable weddings I have attended. So clever and creative!
Fancy wedding outfits- checked; modern dress with asymmetric cut, lovely matching bridesmaids’ dreses; fun wedding-checked, the photo session shows that so what’s left to say is congrats!!!!
I love Kourtney and Kirk’s “first look” photo. These are always so much fun to see how the bride and groom handle this part of the wedding day.
