What would you do if you weren’t satisfied with important aspects of your wedding? Would you consider a “do over”, a second chance to get the details just right? For Christie of The Hindsight Bride blog and her husband, Dustin, they did exactly that. On May 19 last year they used the occasion of their first anniversary to exorcize the disappointment of amateur photography by hiring Asheville Wedding Photographers, Two Ring Studios to shoot a recreation of their DIY wedding. The result is a swoon-worthy set of photos with gorgeous DIY details!

What an honor to be included on this amazing blog. I own both DIY Bride books and used this blog as a key source of inspiration while planning our wedding. Thanks Khris!!!
you are such a doll, christie!
Christie and Dustin are two of the coolest people we have met since we began in the wedding industry. Thanks so much for blogging this!
Amazing photos! Two beautiful people, inside and out!
An anniversary shoot eh? What a great way to “re-use” your dresses and suits and decorations! Way classier than a “trash the dress” session!
I like those butterflies around the wedding cake. It is so cute. 🙂
And also I love all the photos.
what a great idea…so creative and yes, yes, yes, if the memories and the photos aren’t what you how you saw it? DO OVER. Brilliant! These are beautiful shots.
