Mary Lou + Jason’s Vintage Carnival Styled Shoot

Whoa!  Am I loving this job or what?!  I originally hail from the fashion world.  So that means I love a Vogue Editorial as much as I love a Glitter Chevron Invitation Tutorial.  I must secretly confess that my DIY obsession started from trying to save where I could to splurge on things I couldn’t do myself- like clothing.

So what kind of luck do I have grabbing Mary Lou and Jason’s vintage carnival styled shoot?  “Wow!” is all I have to say to this team of vendors that created such a beautiful and creative session mixing the perfect amount of fashion editorial with down home  DIY.

Amy Zumwalt Photography and Off Your Shoulders event planners did such a great job using one of my new favorite color combos- red and mint.  It set the tone for the vintage carnival feel perfectly.  And those fabulous invitations are just to die for!  From the photographer: “We used a firework stand park for our setting and mixed vintage, edgy, sexy and glam by using vintage furniture, red lipstick and heels, the awesome non-traditional setting, and lots of fun accessories.”

While we all loved mismatched china, you have to check out the re-purposed door as a table set up.  The knife board and chalk figures made for super fun and playful shots of the bride and groom to be.  Thank you to this fabulous team of Texas vendors for putting this together and congratulations to Mary-Lou and Jason!
